Book cover designs for the 'Penguin on Design series'. The task was to design a book cover for three separate books, that also correlated as a set of three. My covers are black and white style photographic images, contrasted with a bright orange spine and wrap around sleeve.
The imagery on my book covers relates to the context of each design novel and the orange colour choice is in keeping with Penguins classic brand identity and logo. The final outcome will have a detachable orange sleeve with the blurb and title so that the stark black and white imagery takes centre stage.
